Un terremoto de magnitud 7 sacudió la frontera entre China y Kirguistán el martes, informó el Servicio Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS).

El terremoto se registró poco después de las 02:00 horas del martes (18:00 horas GMT del lunes), a una profundidad de 27 kilómetros, según el USGS, en la región china de Xinjiang, a unos 140 kilómetros al oeste de la ciudad de Aksu.
