El belga Nafissatou Thiam, doble campeón olímpico de heptatlón, batió este viernes el récord mundial de pentatlón bajo techo en el Indoor Euro de Estambul, con 5.055 puntos.

Thiam adelantó a la polaca Adrianna Sulek que, con 5014 puntos, también superó el antiguo récord mundial de la ucraniana Nataliya Dobrinska (5013 puntos), establecido en 2012 en esta misma sala de Estambul.
